About this place
A swimming beach on an uninhabited island in Katsumoto, Iki, Nagasaki Prefecture, about 10 minutes by boat from Katsumoto Port on Iki Island. A white sand beach curving like a bow spreads out, and it is also selected as one of the 100 Best Swimming Beaches of Japan. During the summer season, from mid-July to around the end of August, more ferries run. At other times, sightseeing boats circle the island, and there are no shops, vending machines or trash cans.
