About this place

A castle site in Izuhara, Tsushima, Nagasaki Prefecture. It is the third mansion site built after the 10th head of the So clan, So Sadakuni, moved the seat of government to Izuhara in the 2nd year of Onin (1468). Kaneishi Yakata, built after a mansion was destroyed by fire in an internal conflict, was expanded and its fortifications developed and it came to be called Kaneishi Castle, but no castle keep was ever built.
