About this place
Hado Misaki is a cape at the northernmost tip of the Higashimatsuura Peninsula in Chinzei-cho, Karatsu, Saga Prefecture, facing the Genkai Sea (Iki Channel). Part of Genkai Quasi-National Park. The Higashimatsuura Peninsula is a ria coast with intricate small peninsulas, and Hado Misaki is the tip of a small peninsula between Nagoya Bay and Kushi Bay. To the east, across Nagoya Bay, are Kabeshima and Yobuko; to the north, across the Iki Channel, are Kakara Island, Matsushima and others.
