About this place
A pasture at the northern tip of Kabeshima Island in Karatsu, Saga Prefecture, surrounded by the sea on three sides. Green grassland, the white Hizen Tateishizaki Lighthouse and views of the sea spread out, and grazing cattle spend the time from 9:00 to 17:00 here. From the promenade along the coast you can see the Genkai Sea and columnar joints, but some sections are closed to entry.
