A park in Shimizu town where groundwater from Mount Fuji rises, the riverbed showing blue.
About this place
A park in Fushimi, Shimizu-cho, Shizuoka Prefecture. It is a land of springs where snowmelt that fell on Mt. Fuji reappears above ground after decades; it was selected among the 100 Exquisite and Well-Conserved Waters of Japan, and the clear stream is designated a national natural monument. At the Spring Plaza you can put your feet in the welling water, and from the first and second observation decks you can look at the springs. At Kibune Shrine in the park you can draw a water fortune.
