Overview
A swimming beach at Miho in Shizuoka City, with Mount Fuji and Shimizu port in view.
About this place
A popular beach at the tip of the Miho Peninsula, right next to Masaki Lighthouse. Mt. Fuji lies straight ahead, and to the left you can see ships passing through Shimizu Port and the mountains of the Izu Peninsula. The water is clearer than at Miho Uchihama, and it is a base for marine sports such as windsurfing and SUP. At the water's edge there is also the fun of searching for "hachimaki stones."
