About this place
Hakuto Coast in Tottori. Said to be the setting of the myth of the White Rabbit of Inaba, it has a reef resembling the back of a crocodile shark and a white sandy beach curving like a bow. It was certified a Sacred Place for Lovers in 2010. Along the national road is a song monument for the children's song Daikoku-sama, and about a 5-minute walk from the roadside station Shinwa no Sato Shiro-usagi is the southern limit of the natural habitat of the Japanese rose, a national natural monument.
