About this place
A special opening of the national treasure Five-Story Pagoda of Rurikoji in Yamaguchi, Yamaguchi, held during the Yamaguchi Destination Campaign (DC). Built in 1442 to mourn Ouchi Yoshihiro, it is one of Japan's three most famous pagodas, and the interior, which is usually only viewed from outside, can be seen up close by stepping onto the veranda. You can see features such as a circular altar, rare even in Japan.
