Overview
A shore at Yuya in Nagato. Waves enter a hole below the cliff and the compressed seawater blows high into the air.
About this place
A blowhole viewing spot in Tsuoh, Yuya, Nagato, Yamaguchi, where waves enter a rock hole and shoot seawater upward. Seen on a sea cliff about 500 m northwest of the Tsuoh settlement, the rougher the sea, the higher it shoots, sometimes reaching 30 m. It occurs easily in winter when northeast or north winds blow.
