A 153 m tower in Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi Prefecture. The observation room, 143 m above ground, is fully glazed, and the ride up in the see-through elevator takes about 70 seconds. It offers 360-degree views of the Kanmon Straits, Ganryujima Island, Hibikinada Sea and Kitakyushu on the opposite shore, as well as sunsets sinking into the Sea of Japan and night views. It is certified as a Sacred Place for Lovers, and the love fortune slips at the matchmaking shrine in the observation room are popular.
