About this place
Cherry blossoms in Minami-Alps, Yamanashi Prefecture. The flowers that dye the area white are simple and lovely, at their best from late March to mid-April. After the flowers fall, red fruit forms in about 40 days, and every season people visit from across the country for cherry picking. Varieties include Takasago, Sato Nishiki and Beni Shuho, and the harvest season is especially early for Japan.
