Overview
A 1,306-metre mountain in Koshu. Cleared by an old forest fire, it gives a wide view.
About this place
One of the 100 Famous Mountains of Yamanashi in the Daibosatsu and Doshi mountains, in the Isawa, Katsunuma and Nishizawa Gorge area. Okuchichibu and Yatsugatake can be seen between the hemlocks on the flat ridge, and Mt. Fuji appears between the trees at the quiet summit. The observation deck is about 5 minutes along the ridge path, where Mt. Fuji shows its graceful figure above the Misaka mountain mass.
