About this place
The course within Yamanashi Prefecture is a promenade with a total length of 115 km. Entering from Tashiro Pass in the west of the prefecture, it passes once into Shizuoka Prefecture and then re-enters Yamanashi at Wariishi Pass. After passing through famous places such as the Fuji Five Lakes, the Aokigahara forest and Oshino Hakkai, it circles half of the northern foot of Mt. Fuji and enters Kanagawa Prefecture at Takasashiyama.
