About this place
Chirihama Nagisa Driveway is a tourist road of about 8 km along the sandy beach, running from Imahama, Hodatsushimizu, Hakui District, Ishikawa Prefecture, to Chirihamacho, Hakui, in the same prefecture, and it also serves as the Chirihama, part of Imahama, and Dehama bathing beaches. It is the only road in Japan where ordinary cars and buses can drive along the water's edge of a sandy beach. It is a sandy-beach road of 8 km on the Chirihama coast between Chirihama IC and Imahama IC on the Noto Satoyama Kaido, and it is open for the purpose of sightseeing.
