About this place
Kokusai-dori (also read Kokusai-toori) is a street of about 1.6 km in Naha, Okinawa Prefecture, running from the Prefectural Office North Exit intersection (the intersection in front of Palette Kumoji) to the Asato Sansaro junction. It is the liveliest street in Okinawa and the largest downtown area of Naha. The name "Kokusai-dori" is generally read "Kokusai-dori" in Okinawa Prefecture, including by national agencies, but at the entrance to the street there is a stone monument of a shisa with "Kokusai-toori" carved on it.
