About this place
The Bizen Osafune Japanese Sword Museum is a museum exhibiting swords in Osafune, Osafune-cho, Setouchi, Okayama Prefecture. It was originally founded as the Osafune Town Museum, but when Osafune, Oku and Ushimado merged, it was renovated in 2004 with an added workshop, to create a museum specialising in swords. As of 2020, it mainly exhibits Bizen swords made in Bizen Province.
