About this place
Tsugaru Han Neputa Mura is a hands-on tourist facility in Hirosaki, Aomori Prefecture, themed on the Hirosaki Neputa. Besides the 'Hirosaki Neputa House', a permanent exhibition hall for Hirosaki Neputa where demonstrations of the festival music are given, it is a hands-on facility with 'Sangendo', where visitors can hear live Tsugaru shamisen, and where they can watch folk craft production of the Tsugaru region and try making crafts themselves.
