About this place
Fujisawa City Fujisawa Ukiyo-e Museum is an art museum and museum in Fujisawa, Kanagawa Prefecture, exhibiting ukiyo-e and local historical materials. It opened on July 16, 2016, to exhibit ukiyo-e and other materials collected by Fujisawa City. Because of the collecting policy of the economist Kure Bunpei, who formed the core of the collection, there are many works related to Enoshima. In the first year after opening, visitor numbers were 40,000, about double the initial forecast.
