About this place
The Nara Prefectural Archaeological Institute of Kashihara is a prefectural research institution for buried cultural properties established in Unebi-cho, Kashihara, Nara Prefecture. It is an organisation belonging to Nara Prefecture. It has the longest history of any public buried-cultural-property research institution that exists today. It is sometimes abbreviated as "Kashiko-ken."
