At about 750 metres, one of the hardest stretches on the circuit. It is bound up with the faith of Mount Ishizuchi.
About this place
Yokomineji is a Shingon Omuro-sect temple in Komatsu-cho, Saijo, Ehime Prefecture. Its mountain name is Ishizuchizan and its subtemple name is Fukuchiin. The principal image is Dainichi Nyorai. It is Temple No. 60 of the Shikoku 88 Temple Pilgrimage and the western worship site for Mt. Ishizuchi.
