About this place
A waterfall in Ikeda, Fukui Prefecture. It has a drop of about 60 m and was designated among the 100 Waterfalls of Japan in Heisei 2. You can look up at the fall from a spot just down the steps, and its character changes in the autumn leaf season. Legends are handed down that a monk named Ryuso lived here and that a dragon climbs the waterfall.
