About this place
Michi-no-Eki Taio Kinzan is a roadside station on National Route 442 in Hita, Oita Prefecture. It was registered as a roadside station on August 18, 2000 (Heisei 12). It registers as a roadside station the facility centered on a museum that opened in 1983 (Showa 58) on the site of the Taio Gold Mine, which closed in 1972 (Showa 47). It is also known by the name used before registration, Underground Museum Taio Kinzan.
