Overview
A tea field in Fuji, one of the few places where Mount Fuji and tea fields can be photographed together.
About this place
A place in the Obuchi district of Fuji where you can look out over tea fields as far as the eye can see and Mt. Fuji. Known as a rare spot where artificial objects such as utility poles and buildings do not enter the background, letting you see Mt. Fuji and the tea fields with nothing in the way. In the new tea season around May, the yellow-green of just-sprouted tea leaves contrasts with snow-capped Mt. Fuji. A preservation society protects the landscape.
