A railway climbing 328 metres in about five minutes, used by pilgrims to Mount Koya.
About this place
A cable car on Mt. Koya in Wakayama. It climbs and descends an elevation difference of about 328 m in about 5 minutes between Gokurakubashi Station and Koyasan Station. The current cars were introduced in 1964 together with a full set of hoisting equipment, and fares are 500 yen for adults and 250 yen for children.
