About this place
Michi-no-Eki Yamagata Zao is a roadside station on National Route 13 in Yamagata, Yamagata Prefecture. It is Yamagata Prefecture's 23rd roadside station and the first in Yamagata City. It is an integrated roadside station built by the DBO method. A group of local companies, led by the Yamagata Prefecture Tourist and Product Center, which runs the commercial facility Gutto Yamagata on the adjacent land, established the special-purpose company Omote Zao Bell Town Co., Ltd. to carry out the development, and designed it to be operated in cooperation.
