Miyazaki pickle by-product technology wins the Noguchi Award

A technology for adding value to pickling by-products, developed by the Miyazaki Prefectural Industrial Technology Center and Ueoki Sangyo Co., Ltd., has won the 26th Noguchi Award. It extracts fructan from rakkyo pickle waste, and the award ceremony will be held in Nobeoka on 18 November.
