VILLAGE Report vol.1 Hokkaido | Nibutani Ita and Nibutani Attus, the first step in the north

The first items in Hokkaido to be designated national traditional crafts were the Ita and Attus of Nibutani in Biratori Town. The designation came in 2013. To begin a new series visiting all 47 prefectures, we look at trays and woven cloth handed down in the Saru River basin.
