According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Japan’s exports of agricultural, forestry, fishery and food products in 2025 reached 1.7005 trillion yen, up 12.8% from the previous year, marking a record high for the 13th consecutive year. Seafood grew by 17.2%, and the top export destinations were the United States, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Seafood grew by 17.2%, and the top export destinations were the United States, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
